Getting Started

No — you don't need everything ready upfront. We'll walk you through a simple intake form after kickoff that covers the essentials: your logo, a few photos (or we can source stock), and some basic info about your business. We'll handle the rest. Most clients are surprised by how little they need to provide.
Send us a message through the contact page. We'll respond within 24 hours to schedule a free 20-minute discovery call. No pressure, no pitch — just a conversation about your business and what you need. From there, if it's a fit, we'll send over a clear proposal.
Yes. We work primarily with service-based businesses — trades, home services, automotive, health and wellness, professional services, and more. If you have customers to reach and revenue to grow, we can help.
Absolutely. Redesigns are one of the most common projects we take on. We review your current site, discuss what's working and what isn't, and rebuild it right. We can also take over maintenance of an existing site — just ask.

Pricing

The setup fee covers everything required to design and build your website from scratch — strategy, design, development, and launch. The monthly fee covers ongoing care: maintenance, security, edits, reports, and the additional services in your package (SEO, automation, social media, etc.). Both are required — there's no standalone build-only option because we want your site to stay fast, secure, and up-to-date after launch.
No. What you see on the packages page is what you pay. We'll be upfront about any third-party costs (like domain registration or hosting, which are minimal and typically billed directly to you), but there are no surprise fees or add-ons we sneak in later.
Yes, but not a lock-in contract. We use a simple service agreement that outlines the scope, timeline, payment terms, and what happens if either party wants to end the relationship. There's no long-term commitment — after launch, the monthly service continues month-to-month and can be cancelled with 30 days notice.
We split the setup fee into two payments:
  • 50% deposit — paid at kickoff, before we begin design
  • 50% on launch — paid the day your site goes live
The monthly fee starts the month after launch and is billed on the same date each month.
Yes — anytime. Many clients start with Starter or Growth and upgrade to Full Presence once they've seen the results. The upgrade only affects your monthly rate going forward; there's no additional setup fee for upgrading.
03

Timeline

Typically 2–4 weeks from kickoff to launch, depending on the package and how quickly you're able to provide feedback. Starter sites lean toward 2 weeks; Full Presence builds with more pages and integrations are closer to 4. We'll give you a specific estimate in your proposal.
The most common delays are waiting on content (logos, photos, written copy) and delayed feedback on design proofs. If you can respond to review requests within 1–2 business days, we almost always hit the shorter end of the estimate. We'll keep you on track with clear checkpoints.
There's no limit on revision rounds during the review phase — we refine until you're 100% satisfied before we launch. Post-launch edits are covered by your monthly plan (1 round/month on Starter, unlimited on Growth and Full Presence).

Technical

We build custom-coded websites — no page builders, no shared templates. Every line of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is written for your site specifically. This means faster load times, cleaner code, and zero bloat from plugins you didn't ask for. For clients who need a content management system (CMS) to update their own content, we can integrate one — just ask.
Yes — every site we build is mobile-first by default. We design and test on phones, tablets, and desktops before launch. Over 60% of web traffic is mobile, so this isn't optional — it's how we build.
You do. Once the setup fee is paid in full, the website and all its code belong to you. Your domain, your hosting, your site. We manage it on your behalf, but we never hold it hostage.
Yes. We set everything up for you and walk you through the accounts so you always have access. Domain registration (typically ~$15/year) and hosting costs are billed directly to you at cost — we don't mark them up.
Fast. Because we build custom code (not WordPress with 30 plugins), our sites routinely score 90+ on Google PageSpeed. We compress images, minify code, and configure caching as standard practice — not an add-on.

After Launch

At minimum, every plan includes security monitoring, uptime monitoring, and a monthly health report. Higher plans add bi-weekly or weekly site checks, performance and ranking reports, and unlimited edits. Full Presence clients also get SEO work, social media management, automation, and a monthly strategy call — see the packages page for the full breakdown.
Email us at tristantrigg@beaconweb.co with the details. We aim to complete edits within 1–3 business days depending on complexity. Growth and Full Presence clients have unlimited edits — just send them in as they come up.
You can cancel the monthly service with 30 days notice — no penalties, no drama. Since you own your site outright, you'll keep everything: the domain, the code, the hosting. We can also help you transition to another provider if needed.
Honest answer: 3–6 months to see meaningful movement in rankings. Local SEO can move faster — sometimes within 4–6 weeks for Google Maps rankings. SEO is a long game, but the foundation we set on launch day (clean code, proper schema, optimized Google Business) starts working immediately. We'll show you the data every month so you can see the trend.
We monitor all client sites for downtime 24/7. If something goes wrong, we're usually aware of it before you are. For urgent issues, Full Presence clients have a 24-hour priority response guarantee. For all other plans, we respond to reported issues within 1 business day and have most things resolved the same day.
